Kim hopes to live life with her eyes and heart wide open, eager to see the Holy Spirit at work in the world. Kim believes that God’s Love always finds a way–most of the time, in the most subtle and surprising ways.Kim is passionate about cheering others on in their passions & believes everyone has a song to sing. A Filipino-American born in Long Beach, CA, Kim grew up in a Filipino Presbyterian Church plant which started as a bible study in her family’s living room in Henderson, NV.

Kim received her B.A. in Christian Ministries from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA, and her Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, TX. Music has played a vital role in Kim’s call to ministry, and she is grateful for opportunities to lead music when and where the Spirit leads. She has experience leading music at Mo-Ranch, Massanetta Springs, and Montreat Conference Centers and testifies that singing and dancing together is true food for the soul. She currently serves as the Associate Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Flower Mound, TX, and was previously the first Pastoral Resident at First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, IL.
