APCE Scholarships
APCE is committed to making the Annual Event accessible to all who long to grow in their ministry of Christian education and faith formation.
In keeping with our Mission, Vision, and Values—to connect, enrich, empower, and sustain—we provide need-based scholarships that open doors for educators and other leaders to participate fully in our community.
These scholarships are made possible in part through the generosity of those who give. One way to give is at the Annual Event through the Val Murphy Offering, The offering honors Val’s legacy of nurturing faith and supporting educators. Our contributions, along with the commitment of our wider APCE community, ensure that financial barriers do not stand in the way of learning, growth, and connection.
Currently, APCE offers four scholarship pathways, in addition to opportunities provided by our denominational partners:

JEDI Scholarship
Supports members who identify as part of historically marginalized communities, including:
- Persons of color
- Persons with disabilities
- LGBTQ+ persons
- Others who experience barriers in church leadership and Christian education
This scholarship reflects APCE’s commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), ensuring that our gathering embodies the full richness of God’s people.
