Rev. Lauren Wright Pittman is the Director of Branding and Founding Creative Partner of A Sanctified Art, a collaborative arts ministry providing multimedia resources for church leaders and spiritual seekers. She uses paint, metallic inks, linoleum carving tools, and Apple pencil to image the layered complexity she experiences in scripture texts. The visual arts offered her a holy space to ask questions, take risks, and make bold statements. Once she began this journey in visual self expression, she became determined to help others embody this freedom and find their own voice through creative process and exploration. As a Minister of Word & Sacrament in the PC(USA), she is uniquely positioned to approach each creative project, whether it be a visual mission statement, church rebrand, or scripture inspired painting, through the eyes of a pastor, artist, visual exegete, and theologian.
